HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL DAY
To mark Holocaust Memorial Day (Thursday 27th January), at the end of the service this Shabbat morning, there will be a brief reading of "The Last Minyan in Germany, 1938".
CSM MINYANIM - BOOKING SYSTEM
Although reservations are no longer required, we are continuing to run the booking system for all services. If you plan to attend it would help the Gabbaim greatly if you would please continue to use the booking system. This will help us know if we need to send additional emails to secure a minyan.
WEARING OF MASKS

The government has announced that from 27th January, there is no longer a legal requirement to wear a face covering, although they do suggest that we continue to do so in crowded and enclosed spaces.

Some of our members have said that wearing masks deters them from attending shul.  Others have said that they remain nervous.  There does seem to be a consensus that we close some of the windows but we will still keep some open.

While the wearing of masks will no longer be obligatory at CSM, out of consideration for others, we ask that members  continue to  wear a mask in shul for the time being.  Covid infection rates in NW11 have increased slightly in the past week although remain very low (about 23 cases per 1,000 people, compared to about 14 per 1,000 the previous week).

We will continue to monitor the rates each week and keep this under review.

FOOD ALLERGIES

Now that more children are coming to shul and enjoying the children’s services, we thought we should remind you that some children are sensitive to some food products and you need to be very careful about any sweets or snacks that you bring to shul.  If in doubt please leave at home.

If your child has any allergies, it would be helpful if you notified us and also the children’s service leaders and we’ll do our best to control things although we can’t watch all of the children, all of the time, so you need to take care please.
