| GUEST SPEAKER NEXT SHABBAT, 6TH DECEMBER - AZRIEL BERMANT |
Azriel Bermant is a lecturer in international relations and diplomacy at Anglo-American University in Prague and a senior researcher at the Institute of International Relations (IIR) Prague. He holds a Ph.D. in diplomatic history from University College London and an MA in international relations from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He was a research fellow in security studies at the University of Nottingham between 2018 and 2019, and a research fellow in the arms control and regional security programme at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS), Tel Aviv University, between 2012 and 2015. He was also a visiting research fellow at INSS during 2024. He is the author of Margaret Thatcher and the Middle East (2016, Cambridge University Press). He is a fellow of the Royal Historical Society. |

Now that more children are coming to shul and enjoying the children’s services, we thought we should remind you that some children are sensitive to some food products and you need to be very careful about any sweets or snacks that you bring to shul. If in doubt please leave at home. If your child has any allergies, it would be helpful if you notified us and also the children’s service leaders and we’ll do our best to control things although we can’t watch all of the children, all of the time, so you need to take care please. |
